Massive protests take place at Gharsana block headquarters in Rajasthan. Protests to continue till administration agrees to implement an earlier agreement regarding water distribution for irrigation in the area. State government invites farmers to Jaipur for talks but farmers refused and told the government to hold talk in Gharsaan. On October 3, Chief Engineer (Irrigation) of the area was removed. October 4, three rounds of talks fail, farmers to stop water at RD 620 of IGNP on October 7.
