Farmers in Hanumangarh are lathicharged while demanding arrangements for paddy procurement. On October 11, protest at Hanumangarh Collectorate demanding procurement of paddy on MSP and action against police officials for October 4 lathicharge on farmers. On October 13, city police station (thaana) will be gheraoed. On October 14, for action against the police officials who ordered lathicharge on farmers, procurement of paddy, and against FCI godowns being rented out to reliance seven farmers sat on indefinite hunger strike.
