Farmers protesting in Narnaund of Haryana during the visit of BJP MP Ramchandra Jangra, who called the protesting farmers anti-social and drunkard people from villages, are lathicharged and arrested by the police. Arrested farmers are released after local farmers gherao the police station. One farmer, Kuldeep Rana, becomes critically injured and is admitted to hospital. Farmers give call for a massive mobilization at Narnaund police station on November 6 to demand withdrawal of cases against protesters. Overnight gherao continues after the administration do not concede to the demands, a bigger protest and mobilization is called at Hansi SP office on November 8.
