Farmers from Ropar district of Punjab show black flags to the newly appointed PPCC Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu who reportedly mocked the farmers recently. The protesting farmers accuse the Punjab Congress of having a dual character. During this protest the police booked around 50 protestors under various sections of IPC. After the farmers stage another protest on July 26 at the Solkhian toll plaza, the police cancel the FIRs against the protestors [15].
