Farmers in Ambala district protest peacefully against the visit of Haryana Home Minister, Anil Vij. 6 farmers are arrested in the night. To protest against these arrests farmers gherao the police station the next day. All approx. 150 of them are arrested. This leads to bigger protests during the day and thousands of farmers gherao the Ambala SP office. Later, on the same day all the arrested farmers are released.
