Haryana government scrutinizes nature and status of cases filed against farmers during the protests against the three farm laws. According to police records 276 cases we filed of which 4 were of very serious nature, in 178 cases charge sheet was prepared, 158 cases are untraced. Haryana government has prepared report to withdraw 8 cases, report has been filed to withdraw 4, and withdrawal process has begun in 29 cases. According to the CID reports postmortem of 46 farmers those who died during the protests was conducted, according to farmer organisations the number is 73. Haryana government to begin compensation process after the enquiry in the matter is completed.
