Homage paying ceremony is organized for Lakhimpur Kheri martyrs and the Maharashtra Jagriti Yatra starts from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule’s historic house in Pune. The stage is named after Sitabai Tadvi a woman farmer from Maharashtra who got martyred at Shahjahanpur border during last winters. The Yatra will take the ashes of martyrs across the state and culminate in Mumbai on November 28 in a rally at Azad Maidan.
