Hul Kranti Diwas (Hul Revolution Day) is celebrated at all borders and toll plaza protest sites to mark the famous Santhal (Tribal/Indigenous) rebellion against the British colonial rule in 1855. The indigenous people fought against the East India Company army to save their lands.
