Under the aegis of SKM Dilli Morcha Kabaddi League a kabaddi tournament
was organised at Tikri and Singhu borders. The initiative was taken by many current and former kabaddi players, commentators, and organizers who have been part of the farmers’ protest from the beginning. Many national and international professional kabaddi players participated in the event. The wide range of protest activities and calls have made the reach of the farmers’ protest wider. The issues which these calls have raised and highlighted cover celebrating historical figures, those belonging to marginalized sections and identities, indigenous people, historically significant events, and progressive movements which have played a role in shaping the present Indian society including demands beyond the issues of farmers alone.
