The AIKSCC invited many farmers’ organisations from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and other states outside its fold to a joint meeting in Delhi’s Gurudwara Shri Rakab Ganj Sahib, from October 26 to October 27. It was in this meeting that the SKM was born. It was an unprecedented development – 500 farmers’ organisations coming together.
