Umesh Malik an MLA from Budhana attend an event in Sisauli village of Muzaffarnagar which is the native village of Tikaits and national headquarters of the BKU (Arajnaitik). Villagers protested his visit and the protest turned violent. The protesting villagers accuse the MLA and his associates of provoking the villagers and insulting them. His car glasses are blackened and broken. Police register cases against BKU workers. Sanjeepp Balyan MP gives an inflammatory speech at the police station. Here he asks the police in-charge either to take action against the farmers or step aside. He warns the police that they know from their 2013/2014 riots experience how to control police [16].
